My First Blogs and my reflections
Hello Mr. Peterson, I overheard that you are interested in blogs for the company to use. From a digital marketing standpoint, one would be better off with a Facebook page. My reasoning comes from my experience as an intern at a digital marketing firm. Functionally the Facebook page and the blog are quite similar. They both allow for one to write posts which an audience can interact with. The key difference is that Facebook has a much larger potential audience than any blog a firm produces for themselves. This is primarily because most people have a Facebook account and are more likely to remain within Facebook’s online ecosystem rather than click out of it. People love to “like” certain Facebook pages in order to see what that page posts next. Facebook even has special formats that businesses can use when they create their own Facebook pages.
